Samsung s4 broken lock button

I've woke up this morning to a broken lock button.

The middle of the button is bent in wards as if it's caught.

I can't turn it on, tred taking the battery out and if thinks about turning on but then doesn't.

any ideas to fix it?

You might have to send it off for a replacement button. It would require tearing the device apart. iFixit has some pretty good videos on what steps to do, but I would proceed with caution. sometimes damage to other parts can be done because other things like ribbons are so delicate.
