hey guys, - How and what is the safest way to root my Samsung s4? see below

I'm new here and hope I've posted this in the correct section. Anyway, I purchased a Samsung S4 from an actual Samsung store in China (...and yes it's an original - I've checked) but as most of you know, there's no google play app on the device. Ok, so i found a Google Play Store 4.3.10 Version APK - downloaded it but again the app doesn't open. (It simply opens for literally 3 secs and closes

I've checked through setting, application manager, tried using a VPN, cleared the cache, reset the device but still no luck. Now i understand the whole issue btw Google - China - Samsung. I'm hoping you guys have already found a solution to this stupid problem and can kindly assist me.

**UPDATE** - Just discovered this - The main issue with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Duos is that it’s only available in China and unless rooted, you won’t have access to Google Play Store. In fact, the smartphone comes pre-loaded with loads of bloatware from China Unicom and Chinese-related apps and services. ----How and what is the safest way to root my Samsung s4

Appreciate any suggestions/feedback/help

Cheers

China blocks anything that accesses foreign servers. That's why. Better to root with the new one root tool from CyanogenMod if they support your hardware requirements

Sent from Samsung Z1 GPE on T-Mobile

@ alexlam24 - thanks, yeh it's pain, an entire technology industry was built using this strategy

I have the same problem with an original/Genuine Samsung Galaxy Core Max Dual Sim card 4G with Android 4.4.4 acquired in an official Samsung Store in Shanghai (China).

There's no google play app on the device, so i found a Google Play Store APK version, downloaded it but the app doesn't open. (It simply opens for literally for less than a second and closes).

Recommendations about how to install Google Play Store will be appreciated.

Thanks
