Samsung S4 selfie is blurry at the bottom of the screen.

I tried turning off beauty face mode as recommended by others. I'm reluctant to do a factory reset.

Take a regular photo of something in your home. See if the same spot is blurry. Sounds like a camera problem, could be moisture inside the lens and (unfortunately) you'll need to have it replaced.
