I used towelroot. Very easy to do. No computer needed. Install and run.

Is towelroot safe to use? I mean, safe as in it won't brick the device. I haven't rooted since the HTC Wildfire S, and that was a feat in itself. Lol Also, is it easy to unroot?

I got a forced update that killed root, it updated my kernel to July 25 and TR does not work anymore. Now my phone is unrooted... :-\
