Samsung S5 cant detect sim card-HELP

I dropped it jn the water for about 5 min, i took it out of the water and remove the back cover. I noticed that the water indicator at the bottom turned red but not the other one near the sim. I dry it off, put everything back in and it cant detect my sim card and sd card. I take the sd card off and restart the phone then the phone can detect my sim card but when i put the sd card back in, the phone can't detect my sim card anymore but sd card. Sometime my phone can't detect my sim card, i have to restart the phone. Help me plz

I was using my phone while brushing my teeth, because it is water resistant so i didnt take it out of the water right away. I am stupid, i know. But please help me. Everything is fine except for sim card and sd card.

I would suggest going to your local carrier store and maybe trying a new sim card.

I put my sim card in another phone and it works fine.

I solved the problem. I used Alcohol to clean the sd and sim card slot, and it working fine now.
