Samsung S6 Active/Rugged

Samsung needs to bring a version across ALL platforms and not restricted to just one exclusive Carrier. I want the S6 but scared im gonna bust it due to my outside working conditions. I hope it has all the specs and not some watered down specs as the previous versions.

They produce the phones the carriers ask them to. It's not "Here, AT&T, we made an S6 Active, so buy it", it's "Samsung, will you make an S6 Active for us?" So if your carrier doesn't think it can sell the phone in large enough quantities to warrant the expense of coming out with a new phone (it's pretty expensive for the carrier), thy won't do it.

Waiting for the S6 Active myself. I have a feeling they are going to dumb it down too much though . When should we expect an announcement? Feeling like it's going to be later rather than sooner.

Last year they announced the S5 Active about 2 weeks before it launched, I believe late May. I'm hoping for a refresh for the S6. If they follow the same schedule as last year we can expect an announcement late next month.
