Samsung S6 DEAD

The other day I went to charge my S6 and I picked it up to unplug, it had a black screen and blue flashing light. Tried every recovery method and nothing. Kept trying for a few days and still nothing. Took it in to a reliable service store. They did diagnostics on it and still nothing. He suggested it might have been the actual Samsung charging block that shorted out the phone, he has heard of that happening before. The phone was only 2 years old. Everything on it, lost.

I'm assuming you had everything backed up to Google photos, etc?

I went to google photos and saw that I had pics backed up but not all. Not sure why. Very disappointed that the phone just basically died and nothing helped.

That's too bad. In the future, make sure you have Google Photos backup turned on all the time: https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?co=GENIE.Platform=Android&hl=en. Remember, if you set it to High Quality (rather than Original Quality), you get unlimited backup space.
