Samsung S7 8 inch auto rotate not working suddenly.

My Samsung S7 8 inch; goes into landscape mode when viewing videos, but it does go back to portrait after I close the video. This just started happening a few weeks ago. It's set to auto rotate, I've rebooted and optimized it, but it won't go back to portrait until I open a program like Instagram or YouTube. Very frustrating. Anyone have a fix for this? I've tried a couple of rotate apps, but it's easier to just open Instagram to get it back to portrait than add another app to my tablet.

Sorry, it's a Samsung Galaxy S2 not 7. So, I've been uninstalling a few apps that I thought might mess around with the display functions. It wasn't until I uninstalled VIC and rebooted that my auto rotate started working again. Yeah!! Hope this helps others that are having the same problem.
