Hi all, my phone became like this for no apparent reason. I tried shutting down and hard resetting but nothing works. Any idea on what's the problem? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums! Oh my! Well, my mom's S4 took on that kind of appearance when it had a hard landing on a hard surface - have you dropped your phone or has it suffered any water damage? Anything at all happen to the screen recently? Do you get any response from the buttons or hear any Power Off/On tones?

Also, when did you get this device? Are you still within your warranty period?

Hi Morty, thanks for the quick reply. It was dropped once from around waist level iirc. I tried power off and hard reset (power + volume down button) but no response.
Yes, it is still under warranty. Will i be entitled to the warranty claim?

What was the immediate result when you dropped it - did the screen flicker or did anything else happen?

Hmm, I'm not sure - I recommend reading the terms of your warranty agreement and seeing if drops or other such damage is covered. Please let us know what happens next! Do you have a spare phone you can use in the meantime?
