Samsung S7 Edge can not access any micro sd card after Nougat 7.0 update

anyone else experiencing this issue?

when i insert any sd card it just say ready in the storage settings but when i go to My Files it says none inserted

what does it have to do with unable to decrypt or read any sd card

no effect
my S7 still cant read my old sd card from before nougat update

Wiping the cache can be helpful after major system updates, by clearing out old temporary system data from the cache partition.\

Before the update, had you formatted the SD card as Internal Storage using the ADB command method?

no i didnt format as internal
use it normally as external disk

What if you use a 3rd party file manager like Total Commander? Can that detect the card?

How many different cards have you tried? And can your computer read these cards if you insert them directly into the SD reader?

1 of them my old encrypted so computer cant read them

2 other card is readable using other samsung phones

What application are you using to access the SD card? It may be a permissions thing (apps need to be given explicit permission to access SD card).

Try a system app that should have default permissions to access the SD card, for example the camera. Set camera to store pictures on the SD card and see if it does so.
