Hi yesterday my Samsung S7 Edge phone froze so I rebooted it using the Volume down and power combination. However it would only reboot as far as the Samsung logo. Have repeated many times and still no luck in rebooting. When plugging the charger in it told me that it is charging / charged

Have looked online and used the combination of power, home and volume up so that I could wipe the cache partition and restart the phone. However after doing this and selecting The reboot now option, the screen went black and won't turn on at all now. So now I can't even get the phone to respond at all.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

try keeping the power button pressed until the screen comes on. then you can try to go back to that screen where you did the wipe cache and there is an option for factory reset. this option is your last hope but if you do this it will wipe everything out so you will lose everything you have stored on your phone. if this still doesn't work then you will need to flash the firmware via odin
