My Samsung S7 will not call one number, it starts to call out but never rings on my end. On the other end it rings but if the person answers it, it drops the call. If I don't hang up and just let it "ring" (even if I don't hear anything) it keeps calling the person and they have a bunch of missed calls never goes to voice mail. I can call everyone else no problem and I get calls no problem, even from this number (it is my almost husbands). He has a Note 3 and i have the new S7. We are both on the Verizon network.

When I first got the phone it was acting funny with the number, it rang and rang with out going to voice mail but i could hear the ringing. Then worked ok for a while, then it just stopped calling that number.

My advice is delete the number from your contact list and then re enter it.

Also, make sure you have the area code in the number.

Another thing to try is dial "67 and then his number, it blocks your number, and if it rings through ok it is prob an issue with the contact info, which deleting it and re entering should fix.

Sent with my white Note5 with nonremovable back and no SDcard!

We actually had this issue and it was directly related to the Wi-Fi Calling. Turn that off and test it and it should work. As to why, I assume if there is another phone or someone using that port there could be a conflict possibly? I would turn it off and try to see if that does the trick.
