Samsung s7 overheated and melted charger

[AC Question]

Got the s7 in April plugged in for few hours and melted charger sent to Samsung and they come back saying there's water damage that's why it overheated (phone been no were near water) and phone not covered for water damage, even though it's a water resistant phone. They said I have to prove its not been in water please help don't know what to do thank you
