Just upgrade to the S7 9/10/16. haven't dropped the phone, no impact blows to phone.
Have had it less than 3 weeks. Went to take it off the charger. The phone was hot and cracked on the screen. In one area it looks like an impact point where that area was hotter than the rest
of the phone. Again this morning, I unplug the phone from the charger and the back is cracked!
I called Verizon and they're sending a replacement phone but if the warehouse deems physical damage, my account will be charged. I will definately fight that. Did I mention I work for Verizon? I do. I contacted Samsung directly 888-987-4357 and explained everything to the Service Rep exactly what is happening.
I was advised to take it to the Service Location which is in Los Angeles Ca 60 miles away.
Samsung will repair or replace the phone at no charge.
Ticket number assigned my issue by Samsung 2148781011.
Anyone else out there that has had this same issue or similar such as phone cracking when in front pocket with nothing else to cause physical damage please post it.
