Samsung S8 display won't turn on, vibrates once every 20 seconds, notification light works

[Android Central Question]

It doesn't respond to the power button or holding power + volume down for a soft reset. Nothing seems to make the display turn on - when I plugged it in it started this vibrating every 20 seconds. The screen could have been squished..? When I came into Wifi, I felt the phone vibrate with notifications and the notification light was flashing, but it wouldn't turn on. Now there is a blue notification light flashing with the vibrations.

Any help?????

PS: a few days ago I installed the security update... shouldn't make a difference but just saying.

The screen could have been squished..?

That could be why, but it sounds like water damage (that may have gotten in after the screen was "squished").
