Samsung s8+ has short black screen when powering on

Hello, my dad's Samsung S8+ is having a problem where when he trys to turn on the phone he will press the on button it will vibrate like it normally does when turning on indicating that the phone is still on but the screen is black, after pressing on about 5 times and waiting then the lcd switches on, pls help.

It's hard to say could be a screen on its way out , best thing is to get it checked out by repair center.

It could also be a software issue... my pixel was doing that occasionally, especially after manually updating apps in the play store, but after a factory reset it stopped completely and hasn't did it for months now.
