Samsung S8 Not charging through wall adapter.

Strangely my samsung galaxy s8 fails to charge when plugged into a wall adapter but charges properly when connected to my macbook?

Try a different cable and wall adapter. Maybe the wall adapter is broken

I was having a similar problem recently. Turned out that I needed to clean out the USB C port on my S8 Plus with a tooth pick. All the lint from a year of going into my pocket added up.

I am expericiening the exact same problem with charging with my galaxy s8 plus. It chargers very slowly from a laptop but not at all from wall chargers. I have tried 3 different wall chargers and cables that work on other phones but none of them work with my s8 plus.
I have tried cleaning the usb port but that didn't work. And I am now just slightly worried that I have possibly made it worse by harming the pins.
Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated.
