Samsung S8 / S8 Plus slow down?

Hi,
I had a Samsung S3 and later an S4 smartphone, both slowed down very badly over the months, in every half year I had to do a factory reset on both of them. Is this problem still present for S8 / S8 Plus or Samsung solved this mysterious "phone slowing done a bit more and more each month"-problem?

As you load them with me apps etc, they do slow down a bit. A cache partition wipe freshens them up and gives a clean as it were.
Factory reset is an act of desperation and only to be done as a last resort.

Welcome to Android Central. Agree totally with @Tim1954, I see no problem with my S8+ and had none with my S7e.

I would think having updates, patches to dozens of apps would play a role. Clearing cache for individual apps can help. Some apps seem to be notorized for trouble, Instagram, for lockups and freezing or closing to regain control. Buggy updates. Maybe uninstall and fresh install - when the app is not buggy.

How much storage is free, and storage improvements over the year where UFS 2.x is faster and results in smoother performance. More RAM and improved memory handling.
