Samsung S9+ camera problem

[Android Central Question]

I recently purchased a SamsungS9+. For some reason I can't retrieve any photos I take in the Gallery app, they come out as grey with an exclamation mark. The camera appears to work as I can take photos via WhatsApp and ironically they do appear in Gallery. Any advice how to fix this would be much appreciated. Andrew
