Samsung S9 randomly deleting music

I recently switched to a s9 after breaking my s6 and I had all my music files backed up through samsung and downloaded them onto my s9 and it was fine then about 3 days ago files just started disappearing. Can someone help me fix it or tell me why happening.

Welcome to Android Central! Were the files kept in the Download directory? If so, some phones have a "Smart Cleaner" feature that, if activated, will periodically clear out the Download directory. It could be part of the phone's Device Maintenance app (especially if it's "Powered by Clean Master" -- BLECH:-\).
