Samsung S9 wont power on via power button but power button works in recovery mode

Hi all,

anyone had this issue before?

Samsung s9 appears to be dead (power button does nothing).
plugged charger in and it trys to boot up and goes into a boot cycle.

messing around with the buttons and plugging the charger in I'm able to get it into recovery mode and clear local cache (power button works in recovery mode).
But then in recovery mode clicking reboot goes back into the power up cycle loop again, also once the charger is unplugged the power button no longer works.

Might want try flashing the stock firmware again

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge on a wall outlet undisturbed for at least 6 hours, then try powering on by pressing and holding Power for at least 20 seconds. Does the same thing happen?
