Samsung Secure Folder & JuiceSSH w/ Private Key - is it possible?

I am trying to install JuiceSSH in the Secure Folder on my Tab S3 with no luck.

If I try to install it in the default/insecure container, it works fine. To do this, I email the private key to my S3 and save it. JuiceSSH smart search finds it immediately and everything is fine.

When I try to install it in Secure Folder, I follow the same procedure, email it and save it. JuiceSSH will not find/recognize the (identical) key.

Am I doing something wrong or have I run into a bug of some sort?

Edit: To be clear, when I save the key in the default container, it is in the download folder. When I save it in the Secure container, it is in the download folder in the secure container. i.e. same key, same folder, different containers

Try moving the key into the private area? Make a folder using the same file structure (/downloads/ or whatever and drop it in.

it's likely that apps in the secure folder just won't find files outside of their sandbox (and if so, that's a good thing as far as privacy is concerned).

I think you can skip the keypair and use a password only for a juicessh connection if you have access to the server/whoever does is OK with that. Not ideal, but better than nothing.
