Yesterday I picked up a new Samsung Smart TV I was able to connect my phone with the TV so I have the remote control settings on the phone for the TV what it's not letting me do is screen mirroring of the phone on the TV it keeps trying to connect a nose says something about unplug the power cord and plug it back in on the TV I have re-added the phone two different times thinking it was just a setup issue but it won't work

Are you enabling the feature on the the TV and your device. On your your device it's called Smart View. Screenshot_20200524-082756_One%20UI%20Home.jpeg

Yea. It sees the TV and the TV sees it so its connected that way. I can use the remote control settings on my phpne in smart view. It just won't connect for screen sharing. Strange

The software on the TV can be flaky sometimes and various things don't work.

Try holding the power button down (maybe 5 seconds) on the remote until you get the Samsung splash screen. At that point the TV has rebooted so give it a minute to restart all services and logins. Then try and connect screen mirror again, it should work. If not you may need to do a factory reset on the TV and try again.

I think I will try that it did mention something about plugging and unplugging the power source

Darth - that hold the button down worked :)

Awesome! The holding the power button and unplugging/plugging effectively do the same thing, but as you saw there is very little feedback to show the TV is rebooting so that's probably why they recommend unplugging.

I probably have to reboot the TV every other week because something in the software stops working. But using the remote rather than digging around to find the plug is a much better option and far less inconvenient.
