Samsung system update stops at 99% then turns off

while trying to do the Android 11 update. Also the phone never comes back on and is unable to go into any type of factory setting to do the hard reset. If you try to do the hard reset the update just comes back up from 1%-99% and cuts off again.

It is not allowing me to do that when phone powers on it keeps going back to system update

What do you mean that it keeps going back to system update? Are you sure the phone is completely powering off? To be sure, press and hold Power and Vol Down for about 30 seconds. Then try the steps for the Recovery menu again.

Yes it powers off completely and the only way it comes back on is by holding down the volume up and power button nothing else works

Can you power off the phone ?
If you can hold the volume down/power button same time to go in download mode and from there flash the firmware in odin

Tried that more than once nothing happens and the only way to power on the device is to hold down the volume up button and the power button at the same time

Ok as soon as you feel vibration or screen comes on hold volume down/power button same time , might have to plug into computer while you do this

I’m in exactly the same boat but already tried that fix. Didn’t work.
