Samsung Tab 3 touchscreen not responding

Followed instruction here; held power n vol up, wiped cache n data, rebooted screen still not responding. Stuck in "set up your device " screen...HELP!

Welcome to Android Central! I saw in one of your other posts that your Tab 3 has a cracked screen. If that's the case, the touchscreen digitizer is likely broken, and the whole touchscreen assembly needs to be replaced. Doing a reboot or factory reset won't help.

B.Diddy, ty for responding, The cracked screen is my daughter's 1yr old LG tab she gave me till I fix the samsung which is 2 yrs old yesterday.

Ok--but if the Tab 3 was just never responding to touch, then the digitizer was probably still the problem, and needs to be repaired by a technician.

Thanks for again responding. Please, do i find a tech via manufacturer or is this something a local electronic store can fix?

If it is over a year old, I would take it to a local shop. You don't have to worry about the OEM warranty anymore.

Yes, just Google "cellphone repair" or "tablet repair" in your area.
