Samsung Tab S 10.5 - How do I get an app playing video to float/multi-task over other apps.

I originally did this by accident with the youtube or youtube gaming app by accident and can't replicate it now! The video window itself appeared on the home screen and I was able to move it around. I was leaning on the tablet and speaking to someone, when I looked back this had happened. I realise this can be done from the video player app on the options button, but this was definitely with the youtube or youtube gaming app.

Any help hugely appreciated as this is driving me crazy, can't find any info on this.

Unless you have a rooted device running xposed on a deodexed rom or an app that specifically does that, than I think it sounds like a glitch. I have a 10.5 tab s LTE and yeah the only app on the stock device that floats that I know of is the stock video player. However there are numerous video apps that have a float option from the play store. BS player is an okay one and also plays YouTube video
