Samsung Tab S 8, some of the icons/shortcuts/widgets on home screen vanished

[AC Question]

I found that the icons, shortcuts and widgets on Home screen just vanished randomly without any reasons.
When it happened, it happened on more than one home screen and 5 ~ 10 items were missing on each screen. It has been happening more than 3 times since I purchased the tablet 2 weeks ago.

I contacted Samsung support online, but they just asked me to reset my device.

Any idea, please?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock TouchWiz launcher or a 3rd party launcher?

Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Wipe Cache Partition - Samsung Galaxy Tab® S
