Samsung tab SCH-i905 compatibility issues

Hello, I just got a second-hand Samsung tablet and I am running 4.0.4. However I cannot run a lot of my apps from my LG, is there a way to update the OS v.?

Welcome to Android Central! I believe 4.0.4 was as high as that device went in terms of official system updates from Verizon. To go higher, you'd have to root the device and see if anyone has designed any custom ROMs for Jellybean or higher, but I doubt it. Check the forums at XDA-developers.com.
