Why not though? The comp has 40w and hell even apple may have 18w chargingWhy do we need faster charging? Better low-light photography I can see.

I have a fast wireless charger by my bed, I have fast wireless charging turned off. I figure it has all night to charge, don't need fast charging. I just turn the fast wireless charging on when I need it, wired or wireless. Try both and look at the charge times, there isn't a huge difference between them.I'm not going to speak for everyone but fast charging as is more than meets my requirements. I'd rather charge a bit slower and preserve battery life. In fact , my overnight charger when needed is a slow charger and I see no reason to change that.

Exactly, I don't know why time is always of the essence. It's bad enough that we have fast food....lol
For me I would use it much but I get through a whole day easily then place in my wireless charger. There are times where I may need a quick top up. Say I fell asleep and didn't place my phone on the charger and woke up and needed to get somewhere.
It only happened once when I was using the OnePlus 6t McLean edition that had 30w warp charge. Really nice to plug it in and quickly get ready and gain about 50% on top of what I had.
You tried factory reset? I was getting 4-6 hours screen time and now I got 8 hours screen time as soon as I factory reset itIf my S10P COULD ONLY last as long as my M20P then yeah dont mind the slow charging(Exynos version).but problem is it doesnt even last as long as my M20P and it charges kinda slow with the screen on(yeah yeah its bad bla bla thanks for the advice i can buy another 1 if it blows up)
My M20P can last a day from a last minute charge(before i shower i plug it in,when im ready to go itll be around 80% or more.)
But now with the S10P i have to wait.or even wake up earlier just to plug it in.
Not saying i hate the S10P.its a good phone but i mean why cant we have faster charging.not some 2 to 3 year old charging tech.im speaking about the Exynos version.if you have the SD855 then good for you.
And now people are telling stuff like Fast Charging isnt a flagship only bla bla,hey come on even a mid range Samsung charges faster.and dont tell people who complain about charging speed about battery capacity due to heat of fast charging molecule, chemical, reaction to Uranium or whatever.
And not everyone only charge their phones when they sleep.im pretty sure many people charge their phones when they are awake as well.
I mean like if you cant give a neutral answer might as well dont bother.
And speaking of neutral.only a handful of androidcentral users are like gift sent from God with answers which isnt heavy sided.the rest are just fanboys.

Considering some are only getting 5-6 hours screen time I think 7 hours is good.Erm... I already did reset 3 times in a row just to be safe. Same results... M20P is just more efficient... 7nm vs 8nm i guess...
My S10P gets 7 hours at most. But my M20P does 9 hours easy... And it charges faster too...
I mean we Samsung users just gotta admit the Adaptive Charging is getting old...
There's an option to turn fast charge on and off. Just turn it on for the times you need fast charging. Charging while your sleeping all night, fast charging is not needed, while your at work at the desk, fast charge but needed unless your work allows you to play on your phone all day instead of working. It really is that simpleYou know.people who dont need fast charging will never understand why some users like us need faster charging.
Not to mention they gonna talk about battery cell durablility and thermal nuclear codes.
Are you suggesting Samsung is pulling a Apple trick to drive up sales. LolHow many watts are we currently getting out of the box? I suppose that this means we have to buy new charging bricks?

I have wired charging set to fast charging and wireless charging set to regular charging. I usually don't use wireless charging unless I'm sleeping at night. During the day I use wired charging to add some battery power to get to the end of the day, that's when I do fast charging. I'm not against using fast charging, I'm just saying I don't use it when I know it's going to be an the charger for awhile anyway.I mean thats for some.i never turn off fast charging.doesnt bother me.i just need fast.even when im sleeping.i want fast.and fast means QC4.0 fast.not Adaptive Charging fast.Adaptive Charging is a joke.and yeah Indonesia always get the Exynos version...
I mean how hard can it be to be Fast?my OP6 and OP6T and yeah my M20P charges fast.even my Samsung A50 charges faster than my S10P...
