Me too, if I were chosen, even if I have to go by myself merging up with someone from this forum would be pretty cool. I just wonder when the choices will be made because it's already August 2nd and we only have what three weeks before that happens you have to kind of plan to go somewhere I mean you know 50 people that's not a whole lot for this unveiling but I also hear two other people that have gone to these things they get free phone some of them do I don't know if everybody but I would think Samsung would make some kind of offer to you if you're invited to New York for the unveiling and that's what excites me just being in the realm of all of that, not so much New York I could care less where they hold it I just would like to be there in all of the excitement of showing this beautiful phone if it turned out to be what's in my mind and I have waited for a year now since the Note 7 died because that was my dream phone I loved it I still love it but if the 8 can be as close if not better then I'm all for it!

How many threads do you have to complain about the battery size? It's about 6% smaller than the S8+ which would be about 20 minutes of SOT based on 5-6 hours of SOT that the S8+ routinely gets. Is that 20 minutes really the end of the world?

5 hours is 300 minutes - 6% of that is 18 minutes. 6 hours is 360 minutes - 6% of that is 21.6 minutes. Isn't 20 minutes a fair average of the two?

Well, JimD above provided the answer to the 20 minutes. And extra RAM? Really? You now think that's going to kill battery life? LOL. Do some research on how power efficient RAM has become.

Why would I ask such a stupid question like that when I was blessed and honored to be part of something amazing? I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. That, and I have faith that Samsung has made the adjustments to make their phone work, regardless of what the battery size is.

I live just an hour away from NYC. I go there all the time and I missed that one. Also a member of the 9-11 National Memorial and Museum so I usually bring people over there to visit the memorial. I didn't get an invite. But if they do something cool in Times Square again, I'll go.
