Samsung Wireless Charging Convertible

Very disappointed in this wireless charger. I have an Otterbox Defender case and it WI not charge in stand up mode. It will however charge while it's laying flat. What gives? I don't see how either way should make a difference in charging. I may request a refund because something isn't right.

I have the same problem. I am looking for a case that will work when I have the charger standing and laying flat.

Seems like a design flaw. Why would it work 1 way but not the other?

I notice this with other cases also. This charger is like leaning your phone up against an egg. Why Samsung did not make the pad flat is beyond me.

Called Samsung and they said if it works laying down they don't care about it standing up lol.

I have this charger and I have always used it laying down. I did have issues with the otterbox defender though. Asked a few reps at best buy and they said it was common. But I like the convertible charger!
