Samsung you're in serious trouble if you think people will pay $1000 for a phone

He said he was willing to pay all up front and not finance. So $950+tax=$1000 or maybe work a deal with someone wanting to unload his NIB for $800/$850?

I can see how 0% financing could be attractive when choices are few to save money but want something... but if I can save anything over full retail paying up front over financing, money saved is always the smartest choice.

But with 0% APR, it makes no sense to pay now vs pay in installments. There is no argument for paying now. 0% means free money or free loan to be more exact.

Also although the phone is very expensive very few are paying 950 for it. Also now BOGO deals are popping up.

given the price of this phone, I'm very surprised no other company has been interested in making a Note-style device to compete with the Galaxy note.

i would love a v30 with a pen. It would be nice.

Well I guess Samsung and Apple are both crazy. people will pay near to over $1,000 for their favorite phone. Watch how many $1K plus iPhones get sold not to mention the Note 8. Zero Interest 24 month financing makes it easy to sell.

Most of the world.. Has to pay the full price. No carrier or plan subserdies. Also no special pricing if you had ordered note 7.
Samsung USA if very keen to keep customers
