Pixel 10

That would be the way I'd go this time too think it's a nice change
The ergonomics of the non xl 9 are fantastic.

One thing I'm disappointed in with the 10 is increased weight for some daft pointless magnets. Shame.

They should have ditched the equally pointless temperature sensor to save weight.

what do you think?

I get the intent, but this comes across as lazy to me. Instead of better battery tech, you use software to extend battery health?! I guess I shouldn't be surprised as Google's approach is always software over hardware ...

100% just bad in my opinion, especially so early in the battery you should at least give users the option to turn it on. Hopefully enough people complain and they put through a software update to give you the option. Samsung and Google need to get on board with the battery tech

Software over better quality hardware in many cases.

They've had battery issues since Pixel 4a. I dumped mine before the that one lost too much capacity.

I suspect they are also implementing the hard limit to reduce overheating issues in addition to reducing capacity drop after 200 charges.

Pixels do not charge quickly in the first place. Curious about how trickle and partial charges will impact the 200 limit.

Sticking with my 9 ProXL. As retirement priorities change things, happy to get a new phone every two years vs every year - unless I'm really unhappy with my current phone (which I'm not) or a new model really wows me (which it doesn't).
