I am in need of assistance,
My Galaxy Z Flip3 5G model SM.F711U1 cell would appear to have a small programing glitch. Or optionally, I’m a dummy who is unable to see the obvious setting (probability; high) which you will point out.
In settings under cover screen there is no “hold settings” button.
Note that I consider this to be the perfect pocket cell. I’m not one to carry a cell pouch/holster or other encumbrance. This is a great piece of tech, just dump it in an empty pocket and go. No worries.
I routinely pick it up to find the clock style has changed. It adds Widgets, usually all of them. It starts the timer (see adds Widgets). It does this numerous times a week. It turns the volume/vibrate settings to zero often several times a day. Sometimes when I’m quite active and sometimes just sitting around. Being bumped? Assume it must be, but not noticeably and there doesn’t appear to be a pattern to the annoyance. The setting for not changing things when dark (such as in a pocket) has no effect.
A pocket phone that can’t be depended on to ring or announce a text isn’t of great value nor bragged about. A small cell that folds smaller and yet can’t be relied upon carried in a pocket is a bit of a “why bother” product.
This is the cell that replaces my Luddite’s love, Tracfone. (Kept for its size and robust design.) I like my new Flip. But it can be a bit better.
Help.
