Some carriers charge to activate unless you just swap in your old SIM in to the new device

Been VZ carrier specific uzer since before they existed and last year bought the unlocked ZF2 via Samsung and haven't looked back....
Ordered my ZF3 unlocked too. Easy peasy and less bloat. I use a couple VZ centric apps and they're downloadable from Google.

Samsung is probably trying to focus trade in values for those who are upgrading to the newest model for the same device. So when the s22 ultra comes out the trade in values for the s21u will definitely be more. I doubt it will be $900 but It will definitely be more than $450. Probably will be around $600 or $700 if I had to guess.

My 512 GB order changed tonight to Backorder. But says ships week of August 25th.... which is wierd since original delivery was by August 27th.

I use nova launcher. It works good. Well, I think it works good anyway. There's a couple things missing in settings I used to use, I'm assuming the developer took it away...just some small things...like adjusting the speed of scrolling thru the home page, I used to set it to super fast. It's missing the animation in scrolling the app pages, now it just slides side to side. Those are things I notice gone...I don't know if developer took it oway or if it's limited to the phone.

Other then stuff missing, it works great, no stuttering, stuff like that, just some features not there for some reason.


Edit...I just looked at my note 20U, those options are gone on that also. So IMO the developer took crap away he should have left alone. I'm not going to lie, those things have made me think of trying the native OS, but I've been using Nova for years. I don't know why they took those features away.

Actually I noticed this in the folders in my app drawer and contacted the developer and he said that indeed it was changed to act like that and stop each page and that it in beta and they are deciding whether to keep it. I ended up putting a feature request in their discord channel asking for the old vertical scrolling to return because it's a pain the the *** having to swipe several times up just to get to an app at the end of the list. I hope they put it back. Version 7 is still on beta, so hopefully it will still be reverted... or give us a choice.

I only received 4% but that may be because I'm in Canada as everything gets devalued here

Up to 12 percent in this case meant it depended on which Samsung Product you were buying. I received 12 percent.

Why I am moving to a PixelPro 6. Samsung has decided to play Apple again. You would think they have learned their lesson with the 6 S series. If I am going to pay for memory I will pay Google.

Plus I find foldable phones beyond silly. Remind me of 3D TVs.
