Samsungs Wireless Charging Question

I have the same issues with the wireless charging stand. Haven't tried the stand with another phone or the phone with another wireless charger. The phone is s7 edge exynos european.

Those who are having the wireless charging problem, what carrier do you have and when did you buy your phone? I have Sprint and bought it online in April (it was backordered for a few days). Black S7 Edge. I am just wondering if we all got our phones from the same lot.

Black S7 Edge bought mid March on AT&T.

Wireless charging does work with many cases, but most people have tried it with and without cases and with the phone turned off - all sorts of scenarios. Saying the option needs to be turned on a thousand times per thread about this issue doesn't need to happen.

I was simply attempting to help. Checking both of those should allow it to work. My phone didn't initially work till I turned the option on. Since I have.. I use my wireless pad all the time and it fast charges.

As for the case thing I agree it works with most but it's still a thing to check because we don't know what they have. Please don't get snippy over people attempting to help with limited information. Thanks.

I have this charger and I use it with the Samsung adaptive charger that came with the S7E.

Using it with a Mediabridge USB cable, it will fast charge my Edge without any problems. Charging time is excellent. Right now my phone is at 58% and it is saying it will be fully charged in 1 hr 5 mins. YMMV, of course.

I like this particular charger because it has an LED that indicates whether fast charging is on or off. If it's blue, fast charging is happening. If it's green, it's normal charging.

My phone is in this Unicorn Beetle case and I've never had a problem with it preventing fast charging.

I think the key to successful fast wireless charging is using the Samsung adaptive charger (or a high quality replacement), a good quality fast wireless charger purchased from a reliable source, a decent USB cable, making sure the phone is positioned correctly and, if applicable, making sure the case is not interfering.

It won't work if the phone is the problem. Some of these phones have problems. You're lucky yours doesn't.

People on this board tend to assume others are idiots who have not done anything, especially common sense things, to get their problems solved, even if their so-called solution has been mentioned ten times in the thread already, including being answered most of those times and answered in the first post. Just look at the thread I had a couple months ago about this problem - it got to be ridiculous!

My phone is great, and fast wired charging works perfectly. However, fast wireless charging does not work for me either (using the Samsung fast charge stand).
I do not want to replace the phone as everything else is perfect, so I also just use a wired fast charger.

As an update, I had to replace my phone due to a pink vertical line on the screen. The AT&T repair center gave me a refurbished one, and this new one seems to be charging perfectlyon the Samsung wireless charger. So this seems to indicate that some phones have a wireless charging problem.
