There's not much out there on this model phone. From what I can gather from interwebs it's a single core 1.4GHz snapdragon.

I wouldnt say a "beefed up GSII". At least not with only a single core processor. The other specs (those that are revealed) seem GSII-like though.

My guess that this is coming to Verizon as the Stratosphere. If Samsung would have released a dual core 3G GS2 on VZW many people would have bought it over the Bionic (myself included). Looks like they have dumbed it down so it doesn't compete with the Bionic. It's a mid-level phone now.

Just based on the model number (SCH-xxx) and hardware (CDMA), it's obviously a Verizon phone. The roadmap that was leaked some time ago had the Stratosphere as an LTE phone though. I wonder if this is instead the Illusion that was on the roadmap for release on 9/29 (or somewhere thereabouts IIRC).
