I've noticed this appeared a few times by itself user input. How do you close this? (without using task killer app?)

Any way to control when this pops on?

I think its like the just letting you know that your connected to the Google network thats all. I dont think its really anything to worry about. Well as long as you dont care that Google is all up in your fone lol

that's what it is.

it will come on and off whenever the phone is asking for your location, there's no reason for the user to have the control aside from being able to turn it on or off completely, which you can do either in the settings or with the power control widget.
