Well, somebody had to vote "no" so I guess it might as well be me.

Actually, there needs to be another option: I loved the phone; its speed, capabilities, apps, and everything except two things I've mentioned elsewhere last week...the inexplicable auto-screen roll. Drove me nuts. And lack of reception at my workplace. Sprint has some sort of repeater in there and so back to Sprint I go.

I wish it had worked out. It was easily the best phone I've ever had except for the problems mentioned....

I have NO IDEA how in the HELL you get that kind of battery life out of the phone. I play ONE game (but frequently, Air Control) as well as text and receive calls, and after one hour of doing so my phone will be at 80% at the MOST!

If I can just get a decent battery for this phone i'll be MORE than happy!

Simple his heavy usage isn't as heavy as yours. I can go out to 10-12 hours if I hardly touch the phone and only deal with SMS,MMS,EMail and phone calls. But like you if I decide to listen to a podcast and play a few games, then surf the internet and do all the other fun things my battery dies in about 5-6 hours.

Auto screen roll sucks, but from my experience is cause my my palm hitting the optical joystick while laying the phone down. Anything other than that does suck, so that's one knock. But your phone not getting good reception inside your workplace is your fault. You should know if the building has repeaters for Sprint you should have went with a sprint phone if your workplace is the most important place to send and receive calls lol. Good luck with the EVO?

Her useage, actually. ;)

If I hardly touch the phone in the manner you described, I can easily go into the next day without a charge.

I do all the things you just described, perhaps for not as long as you do, and I can still get close to 24 hours out of one charge.

But I do agree that each person uses their phone differently and will get different results. But I wouldn't consider my useage "light".

well you must be special.. i use my DI to its fullest and get about 5-6 hours outa of stock and 6-7 hours out the larger battery..as soon as i unplug i get 5%-10% drop with in 10 mins before it stabilizes.
I easily get 24 hours out of my stock battery with normal (for me) useage. Don't do any tricks for charging, I simply leave it on and charge it in the evening before I head to bed - take it off the charger when it reaches 100 %, head to bed an hour before turning the lights out, text, play games, make calls and turn the lights out with it at about 94% after an hour of use.

Wake up to 89 to 90% charge, and use it throughout the day at work, and play on it during breaks, and I'm usually plugging it back up with still a 30% charge the same time each evening.

I even run my brightness at 100%

Yeah I sure would like to know the trick to getting 24 hours on a stock battery with more than light usage. You are the only one I've seen reporting that, I need to know.
