I'm an android noob so please excuse the million posts.....
I see in the options to free up memory, I can save apps to the sd card. Is this a common practice and if I move apps to the sd card, what will it do other than just move them.
Is accessibility to the apps changed? What can I expect if I choose this option?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas Android Nation!!!!

The main difference is that you cannot run the apps that are stored on the sd card when it isnt inserted (self explanitory). Also, dont get mixed up when talking about freeing memory. All you are doing is freeing up storage on the phone. This in no way frees up your RAM, therefore it wont affect the speed of the phone.

What he said. Move apps at will, EXCEPT, some apps clearly say they will not work properly from the card. Cheek before you move.
