OK here we go, I have a Samsung Tab 4 Tablet and a Lenovo a7000-a phone, the tablet has OS 4.4.2 and the Lenovo has OS 5.0.2, now my problem is that on the tablet I can move apps to the SD card, but I can not do the same on the phone is there something I am missing like a setting or something, I want to move apps to SD card to save space, now there is an option on the phone that says "Default Write Disk" and the options are "Phone Storage" or "SDCard" if I choose SD Card I get a pop up window that says:

Attention If you select the SD card, the applications that installed in internal storage can't be used and the device will restart, are you sure to change to SD Card?

Is there an app i can use to move to the SD Card ?

I personally don't suggest putting apps on the SD card. For one, you may lose some functionality (I.e. widgets don't work when their app is on the SD card), and the amount of data moved will vary. There will always be some app data that remains on the internal storage, and what/if any can be moved is dependent on how each app is programmed.

I always recommend to just leave the apps on internal storage, and put your media and other independent files/documents on the SD card.

The Samsung Tablet should have a file manager called 'My Files' which allows you to move data from device(internal) to SD card (external). Does Lenovo have a manager app built in? Android Kit-Kat and above changed the way files can be writing to SD Cards. If you do not have a native, built in file manager...You can't just copy files from internal to external (even those file managers in Playstore! ). If you have no file manager native to the phone....the best you can do is sty the settings in your Camera app to store to the SD Card.
