the title says it all, here are just some tips to last your battery life longer.
here is mine

i used my phone for whatsapp , facebook a little internet browsing , +-20 min voice calls ,+- 3 hours watching movies and +- 30 minutes playing asphalt 7
and my screenbrightness @ 50% (no auto)
what i did:
- i disabled a lot of syncing or you just can put the entire sync off
- i took a dark background because that saved my battery more and its still not that ugly
- if google services drains your battery life and you dont use them that mutch ---> get rid of them
google now :

google maps : when you not use it disable your gps in your statusbar
also disable your location sharing

also go to settings --> accounts --> google --> location settings and disable the "google apps have acces to your location"

- when you enable your wifi its always searching for wifi networks with uses a lot of battery
download smart wifi toggler what helps you to only connect and search for wifi networks your galaxy is familiar with.

- when your not using google+ at all sign yourself out...
when you are using it disable your instant upload

- arent you using airgesture, air vieuw and all these other features... also disable them
even nfc and s beam is very easy to just enable in your statusbar so you can easily close it when your not using them.

thats it perhaps it helps you out...
if you got some other tips feel free to write them down

Good tips!
I really hate that just to save battery you have to disable 95% of the features...I actually want some of them on...I'll be waiting for extended batteries to come out

Have any of you tried using power saver? And did it actually help save battery? I've tried using it but I don't notice any better battery life.

When I'm new to the OS the first thing I do is Google "how to increase battery life?"

One feature I would never turn off is LTE, I'm paying for it.

As for using using Power Saving mode, I never had too and honestly I don't get it. If my S4 is low I'll charge it. My Mother has the S3 and use it on hers because she doesn't care.
