I subscribe to this guys channel and saw this video. Decided to share it here because it might be worth checking out for Fi users. As long as you don't really care about video quality since compression is how it saves you data.

The difference with Opera Max is that it is independent of their browser. The app essentially (from what I can tell of how it works) is a VPN, that routes pretty much everything you do through their servers and compresses it. It allows you to add restrictions, if you do not want data from some of your apps going through their servers. Also, any data that is encrypted (such as most bank apps encrypt data) is automatically excluded.
