Saving photos to external SD card

I installed a 200 GB SD card and have decided to use it as portable storage instead of adoptable storage. Their are no setting I can find at all in the native camera app to choose the saving location for photos and videos. In fact, they are going to internal storage. I do not want to manually have to transfer them from internal storage to my sd card. Where is the setting to force the camera app to save photos to the sd card??? If you go into app manager, the location bar is grayed out so it can't be done from there either. What is everyone else doing?

Disregard. I figured it out. Settings are well hidden, but they're there.

It would be good if you would tell us where the settings are, for others reading this in the future.
...in camera, go to settings then scroll down to find more options, including storage location.
