Saving pics to contacts

It has gotten to where I don't have the option to save a picture that I received in a text message to a contact or my gallery. I can still do pics that I take on my phone. Please help

Um, not really sure what you mean by that?

You click on the picture and it shows an option to share or save and it isn't doing that any longer.

Hmm. Weird. I have never encountered this problem. Sorry I can't help.

When youre still in the messaging app, long press on the picture. A menu should pop up asking you Lock, Save, Forward, etc. Save it then go back and view it in your Gallery. There you can set it as a Contact Icon or Wallpaper.
