Question Scam blocker: Trucaller vs.Hiya

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy note10+

I used Hiya for years, but I wondered whether I could find another, similar app that was free. Trucaller was suggested as a free alternative. I was disappointed with Trucaller. It lets a scam call ring for 30 seconds, and the user interface seems wordy and difficult to follow. (I concede that I may have forgotten the details of how Hiya works).

I think there is a pay-for version of Trucaller. So...
If you've used Hiya, or the pay-for version of Trucaller, or some other scam blocker, please tell us about your experience.

I found that after registering with Truecaller I had more scam calls than ever before I used it. So I won't recommend it on a personal basis. Not sure about Hiya. I am not sure it even works in the UK where I live.
