Thinking about trading in for a Watch 4. Do you think this will degrade my trade value? Other than this scratch, the watch is perfect.

I had a watch 3 with a damaged bezel. I traded it in for the watch 4 classic. I got full trade in value. The questions askif the screen is cracked (not scratched) and if it powers up to the home screen and is reset. It worked fine if you didn't want to use the bezel. If you trade it in and they say something about the scratch, call them and complain. They tried to deny mine even though their pictures in the denial showed everything met the criteria. I got the whole amount with a 5 minute appeal call. Try it. What do you have to lose?

I got a good deal to use so I don't want to be charged the full amount. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll go for it.

I sent my Watch 4 in for repair. Got a text stating they could not duplicate and they needed to talk to me. Long story short, they didn't call me like they said they would. (No surprise there) I called this morning and I was on the phone for over 5 hours for a 15 minute issue! Yes, I was EXTREMELY upset after being transferred around to people who had nothing to do with it. They don't listen! The ticket was filled out saying it wouldn't power on. That was NOT what the problem was. They kept reading old updates and repeating themselves and transferring me to other waste of sperm idiots. I couldn't even get a supervisor to get on the line! I was finally transferred to the repair facility in Texas where my watch is. I was on the phone with them of 15 minutes and my issue was resolved. That's what I asked to do in the first place. I even had one rep tell me I didn't have a valid reason to talk to a supervisor. Another answered when I called back and I asked if she was ready to actually listen to me. Apparently not. She hung up immediately. My surveys for these calls were VERY negative detailing how incompetent each of them were. Samsung makes great devices. Their customer service is probably the worst there is. What a freaking mess!
