Screen becomes black in GALAXY S4

I am using Samsung Galaxy s4 my screen becomes black while viewing messages or viewing contacts or listening the whatsapp audio

It could be a bad screen or a bad motherboard (or even just a loose cable). In any case, it has to go to a repair shop for analysis and repair.
