Verizon Galaxy S8 Screen "blink" and reset

Had an issue for about a week now. Seems to occur when I access email (using the Mailwise client) and searching from Google Now app (or however they brand it these days)

In google, I type a few letters of the search word, and the screen goes black and pops back up in a flash, its searched the partial word I typed, and cleared the search bar. Even seems to wait till i start typing to do it.

In Mailwise, I will be swiping away emails, and it does the same type of screen reset. Not seeing it on any other apps.
