Yesterday I was watching movies on Netflix, I received a text message and i went to check it out, when i did the screen sort of froze up or something and went black. I couldn't do anything. It would not respond, it wouldn't even let me do a hard power off, so I went to my Verizon store and got them tobescerfise my warranty on it. While there I got a call from my dad but the phone being in the state it was would not allow me to answer it. I was told to expect the replacement phone via FedEx by Tuesday. So I set my phone to the side for the night. I woke up this morning and now I can use it. Everything is checking out ok.

Should I go ahead and swap it anyway since the other one is on the way? I feel leery about this happening again.

As said...YES! You should definitely swap out your current device for a replacement!

Your current device has a defect and right now it comes and goes, but eventually it will get worse.

Got the replacement in yesterday and got the new one set up and running. Packaged the old one up to return to them.
